New evidence regarding Winnie-the-Pooh's forebears
Philippe Baumgart sent us these photos, which seem to shed light on the bear with very little brain's ancestry. He writes: "Here are some pictures I shot in a castle near the place I live, the Bilstein castle. It's a really nice place, and on the east-faced wall of the main ruin (a tower of sort), is this Winnie-like strange and funny carving. According to Wikipedia, this castle was first mentioned in 1217, and destroyed in 1640. It was used as a jail until 1489."
