Daz Marks of Wortley, Yorkshire: "In 2002, I visited Little Horwood Church in Buckinghamshire and took this photograph of the grave of Frederick Ash and his wife Naomi (née Marks), who was a distant cousin of mine. The day was overcast but bright, and I can’t account for the shaft of light falling directly on the grave, which I didn’t see at the time. The picture was taken without a flash on a very basic pocket camera. The light can’t have been the sun reflecting off the lens, as it wasn’t sunny. Can anyone offer an explanation?"
