Simulacra
Flinty Eye

A rock hard stare on the beach

Simulacra
Martin Stevens of Southampton found this stone eye staring eerily
out of the sand. The flint is about 2in (5cm) by 2.4in (6cm). The 'eye'
image is some kind of staining or fault in the rock complete with a near
perfect if incomplete circle in the middle that doesn't have the pigmentation. The glint in the eye is a small chip.
