The organisers of this convention, which runs from 6 - 7 October 2007, have asked us to give them a shout out.
Sam and Jean Wright have been holding conferences each year, spring and autumn at St. Anne’s, near Blackpool, for the last five years. They bring speakers over from Europe and America to talk about topics that will be familiar to FT readers - ufology, cropcircles, paranormal phenomena.
This year's highlight is Jo Ann Richards, whose talk concerns the bizarre events about her husband Mark Richard's life. Mark is "an ex-United Nations Astronaut who has been involved in battles in deep space and over China involving other extraterrestrial races," they say. Hmm - sounds intriguing.
