George Takei gives me the shivers....
The description of that video sez:-
| Quote: |
When things got personal, George Takei--the only actor who has worked in both--stepped in to broker the peace by identifying a mutual threat.
|
He has? He did?
I had to go look that up thinking myself a bit of Star Warrior....
Ah right...he provides voices for The Clone Wars...I see.
Still find him weird. |

| I don't find Takei half as weird, or creepy, as Twilight. |

| I didn't find Twilight creepy so much as excruciatingly boring, but then again it's not really for me. Or George Takei, feeling the strain of the comparative lack of spaceships in current pop culture. George has a great laugh, though (and when did Carrie Fisher get so old?). |

I get regularly told by strangers that I look like "that guy from Twilight". I've not even seen the film |

Yes, Carrie Fisher is unrecognisable. She looks much older than 55. |

Between you, me and the bedpost, back in 2008 or 2009 I was freelancing at the Sci Fi channel and was informed that sci-fi is no longer about spaceships and robots anymore. I guess they were right, they changed their name a promptly started losing viewers. |
