Sorry! I was at the pictures, watching The Hobbit. I've given the board a good kicking, so it should be back to its usual dysfunctional self.

If you're using Firefox:

https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

+

https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/

= Fixed

I use adblock myself, it means I get lovely blue sections on my screen when browsing the forum instead of naked ladies.

Problem with adblock though is that you get so used to it when you use the internet on a computer that doesn't have it the difference is startling Shocked

I too use adblock.
I just get a blue bar down the left and along the top. I agree that when you move to a computer that doesn't have it you suddenly notice.

Yep another Adblocker here - I had to reinstall Firefox last week and I couldn't work out why everything was so rubbish until I remembered it.

AB+ user here, too.

I also use NoScript. It's a pain until you get everything set up right though.

I used to have Noscript too, but the problem is that the makers of Adblock and Noscript don't like each other, so the two add-ons aren't very compatible. Noscript was the worst and kept overriding Adblock, even though I had it set to allow it. In the end I had to switch it off, which was a pain.

I had heard of that, but thought everything was patched up.

I'm running both right now with no problem (but I haven't had NoScript installed for years, so I might have missed the troubles/drama).
