Ahhhh Sherbs...thanks for that reminder of the summer of '79 when a young mook was devouring everything and anything that had that logo on it.

"Splinter" was such a hoot of a book! Pure Star Wars.

My favourite scene as I recall being the battle in the Coway caverns, so very easy to visualize to a kid from far away looking to the horizon for adventure....

I may have to dig it out and refresh my memory of it....thanks mate....

Wasn't it just, I loved it to bits too, so much better than the drivel we got in the actual movie sequels.

Incidentally, did you know that it's Star Wars day tomorrow?

May 4th be with you. Laughing

The word "kinetite" comes from that book.

And today is "Star Wars Day", May The Fourth (be with you).

Cool

Oooh the interwebby's a bit excited today....

STAR WARS Episode VII: THE ANCIENT FEAR

Source - BleedingCool.com

Quote:

This refers to Max von Sydow‘s character.

Apparently that's the working title...but it kind of makes sense...

A = The
New = Ancient
Hope = Fear

And as Yoda pointed out 'Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering."

If the Sith are now considered "ancient", then what does that say about the returning cast? Razz

I'm already sick of the hype and they haven't even set up the catering van on set yet.

Someone Edited Star Wars Episodes I-III Into One Movie

Clocking in at two hours and 47 minutes, this is Star Wars: Turn To The Dark Side, a recut version of Episodes I, II, and III that ditches the Jar-Jar nonsense in favor of focusing on Anakin's relationship with Padme and subsequent fall from grace.
