Woman getting married to fairground ride
Amy Wolfe, a church organist with objectum sexuality, a condition that makes sufferers attracted to inanimate objects, plans to marry a magic carpet fairground ride.

This follows a courtship of 3,000 rides over ten years with the 80ft gondola ride called 1001 Nachts.
Miss Wolfe, 33, from Pennsylvania, will change her surname to Weber after the manufacturer of the ride she travels 160 miles to visit 10 times per year, according to reports
“I love him as much as women love their husbands and know we’ll be together forever,” she said.
Miss Wolfe first fell for the ride when she was 13: “I was instantly attracted to him sexually and mentally.
“I wasn’t freaked out, as it just felt so natural, but I didn’t tell anyone about it because I knew it wasn’t ‘normal’ to have feelings for a fairground ride.”
Ten years later, she decided to go back to Knoebels Amusement Park to declare her love. She now sleeps with a picture of the ride on her ceiling and carries its spare nuts and bolts around to feel closer to it.
She believes they share a fulfilling physical and spiritual relationship and does not get jealous when other people ride it.
Although she faces discrimination from employers, most of her family and friends have been supportive. “I’m not hurting anyone and I can’t help it," she said. "It’s a part of who I am.”

Greek woman 'sets fire' to Briton's genitals
A young Greek woman, Marina Fanouraki, has become an overnight national hero after setting fire to the genitals of Stuart Feltham, a 20-year-old Briton who she claims tried to sexually assault her while drunk in a crowded bar.

Miss Fanouraki, 26, from the fiercely proud island of Crete then turned herself over to police and the courts to be put on trial for what she claimed was her "right to self-defence".
She will face a magistrate today to see whether the case will go to trial on charges of causing bodily injuries and of endangering private property. Mr Feltham, from Swindon, Wiltshire, is in a private clinic in Heraklion, the capital, being treated for second degree burns.
According to a police statement the incident occurred on Wednesday night at the Electra bar on the busy Mallia coast that is dominated by young Britons.
Ms Fanouraki is said to have claimed the British reveller took down his trousers and started acting obscenely. He then "forcefully fondled" the Greek woman, who has been dubbed the "Cretan heroine" by local media.
After asking him to stop harassing her, she told police, she poured Sambuca, an aniseed liqueur, on him.
This again allegedly failed to stop his advances, so she seized a lighter and set fire to the alcohol, local press reports said. 
Sources among travel operators in Malia said his treatment was being covered by his travel insurance. 
The clinic was under discreet police guard, police sources said. However, the magistrate and prosecutor unanimously agreed to set the woman free pending trial, an indication that they were prepared to entertain her argument that she had "acted in justified self-defence".
A small crowd of bystanders applauded and shouted "bravo, bravo", as she was rushed away under police escort yesterday. Legal counsel for the woman said that today's hearing may result in an immediate verdict or might postpone the verdict until a future date, depending on reported plans by the woman's lawyers to take legal action against the Briton, as soon as he has recovered from his injuries.
Mr Feltham's father, Ian, said: "He swears blind that he's never met her or seen her. He's not the kind of lad that gets himself in trouble – he's a kind-hearted, generous boy.

Mr Feltham had been holidaying in Crete for two weeks through First Choice with five friends from school when the incident happened on his last evening there.

Paramedic struck off for oral sex

A paramedic given oral sex in a hospital car park while on duty was today struck off.
David Brammer was caught on CCTV with a woman's head in his lap as he sat in the passenger seat of a car parked at Rotherham district general hospital in June last year.
Brammer, who has since been sacked from the Yorkshire ambulance service NHS trust, was found guilty of misconduct at a hearing of the Health Professions Council in south London.
Striking Brammer off the register, Derek Adrian-Harris, chair of the panel, said he had committed a "serious, deliberate and reckless act that severely undermined public confidence in the paramedic profession and breached the trust that the employer should have expected to have in him".
Adrian-Harris said Brammer, 53, had oral sex while on duty and wearing his uniform.
The act would "offend the morals of any right-thinking member of the public", he said.
Brammer's actions breached the trust of his employer and undermined public confidence in the profession.
Adrian-Harris added Brammer had demonstrated "no insight into his actions" and a "lack of understanding" of the impact his actions would have on the profession.
Brammer had denied being given oral sex by the woman, whom he had met just twice before, saying he was only trying to comfort a sobbing woman after telling her their fling was over.
Brammer showed no reaction as the sanctions were read out.
Earlier, Adrian-Harris said the panel found Brammer's fitness to practise was impaired at the time and remains so today.
He said Brammer "failed to maintain high standards of professional conduct" and also failed to understand the "profound unacceptability of his behaviour".
Lance Dodgson, representing Brammer, had urged the panel not to strike his client off, saying the risk of him doing something similar again was "non-existent".
"It was simply a mistaken act, a serious lapse of judgment and behaviour on Mr Brammer's part," he said.
Dodgson said the 53-year-old had worked his way up from being a part-time cleaner with the ambulance service to being a "well-respected" paramedic over 12 years.
Dodgson said: "In essence, the job is his life, aside from his family. He has nothing else except that."
He said his client's marriage ran into problems "due to overworking" and he had suffered "numerous upsetting, emotional and heart-rending events" in his personal life, including the death of a six-week-old grandchild who stopped breathing at his home.
Brammer also helped his daughter overcome an addiction to heroin, Dodgson said.
Brammer was now "throwing himself into his work" and was travelling the country with his job, spending long periods away from his wife, in an attempt "to help people".
Yesterday, security officers told the hearing they focused a camera on a suspicious car in the car park shortly after 11pm on 10 June last year and saw the uniformed paramedic being given oral sex as he sat in the passenger seat.
They described seeing what looked like "a performance of oral sex" as the woman's head moved up and down while in the man's lap.
Sharon Witton, who conducted the internal investigation for the ambulance trust, said Brammer told her he had arranged to meet the woman once before and that he "had been having problems with his wife but they had decided to try again".
But she said he told her he was being pestered and stalked by the woman, who had been sending him text messages and calling him throughout his night shift, which ran from 6pm to 4am. The woman also threatened to come to the ambulance station at the hospital.
"So to stop that happening I agreed to see her in the car park," Brammer told Witton.
Describing events inside the car, he said the woman told him: "I'm going to show you what you're missing."
He went on: "She was intending to give me oral sex to leave my wife. I was embarrassed."
The panel also heard Brammer changed his story.
He told a fact-finding hearing: "She was laid across my knee, moving her head up and down."
He added that she put her hand inside his trousers.
But he later told a disciplinary panel that she could not get her hand inside his trousers because he was heavier at the time, and that she moved her head from side to side, not up and down.
The panel also went into closed session to discuss Brammer's health and psychological issues after being told he was using the sedative temazepam at the time of his meetings with investigators.
A spokeswoman for Yorkshire ambulance service NHS trust said: "In June 2008 we conducted an investigation into claims that an employee had committed a criminal offence and breached the trust's code of conduct.
"Appropriate disciplinary action was taken, resulting in the employee being dismissed from the trust and the case being referred to the HPC."[/url]

Interesting programme, especially the interview with the apparently unassuming author, but I get the feeling that the book is incredibly boring if you're not into S&M. Anybody here read it? |

The fact that it took me half an hour to find confirms that it was never an exciting read. Does anyone really read erotica for single-handed purposes these days? The very word 'erotica' suggests to me something posed, chilly and a bit tedious. It's what other people find sexy. I've a suspicion that very few do but the trappings are traditional and we are never far from the coziness of a Hammer Horror.
The Story of 'O' is very French in its cool stylishness. It is consciously an artistic piece of writing, opening as it does with a choice of first scenes.
Both are variations on the scenario that 'O' is delivered by taxi to the Parisian villa, where she will lose herself in sexual submission*. It's the same gothic universe of the posh depraved which informs thousands of soft-porn movies and photo-sets. It is populated by shadowy figures who seem to have retired from the stock-exchange to spend more time with their dicks. It probably died the death some time during the third hour of Eyes Wide Shut.
Anyone familiar with Gothic literature will find the trappings of 'O' nicely de luxe. The novelty was in the detailed responses of the willing victim and the degree to which the sexual practices were made explicit. Any twelve-year-old will probably find worse within ten minutes of turning on his or her first computer.
It's not a rare book in its paperback versions. Mine was a cheap p/b reprint from the late seventies with a movie tie-in cover.
That film version by Just Jaeklin was made in the mid-seventies and screened on Channel Four way back in the mid nineties (?) Uncut, IIRC. It was refused a certificate on its initial release. I saw the broadcast and have very dim memories of a campy and fluffy bit of tit and ass porn. I doubt if it was exactly ground-breaking in its day, though porn movies were usually made in a range of strengths simultaneously for different markets.
*This taxi-based opening reminded me of Hitchcock's much-quoted remark that he liked to contemplate cool, unapproachable women who would do depraved things in the back of a cab. His fascination with the intimate details of a woman's wardrobe and accessories is reflected in the female viewpoint of the Story of 'O'. I'm sure Hitch knew the work well. |

I found my Dad's copy when I was about 15. Of course I was too young to grasp all the S&M malarkey so I just thought that's how blokes are.

A man who was found pleasuring himself in a muckspreader at a Redruth farm has been sent to prison.
David Roy Truscott, 40, of Pengegon Parc, Camborne, was given a 16-week prison sentence last week after pleading guilty to the harassment of Clive Roth and his family at Woodbury Farm, Tolgus Mount.
Magistrates in Truro were told that between December 23, 2005 and August 22 this year 40-year-old Truscott had masturbated in the muck spreader while he was fully aware this caused the family distress. [I don't know how he kept it up for so long! ]
In a previous case in 2004 Truscott pleaded guilty to burglary and three offences of arson at the same farm, when the court was told how he liked to strip down to his waist in manure for sexual reasons.
Police caught Truscott at the farm at Tolgus Mount, near to where he used to live, wearing shiny red shorts and rubber gloves.
At the time magistrates were told that the farmer first became suspicious that something odd was going on when he found a water trough filled with manure and tissues scattered around.
He then saw the shape of what appeared to be someone’s bottom and two hand prints where manure had been piled up. On another occasion it was obvious someone had been playing in manure and tissues and plastic gloves were found nearby.
After catching Truscott at the farm, police searched his house and found women’s clothing, mainly underwear, with containers of liquid sludge and hard mud.
Truscott told the officers that he had 360 pairs of women’s knickers and he liked to sleep in women’s pyjamas. He had taken women’s clothing with him to the farm as part of his excitement. He was also convicted starting a fire which damaged farm buildings and killed a cow.
Despite magistrates being told at the time that this was a case they would be “unlikely to come across again,” last Tuesday Truscott found himself back in court for the same behaviour.

Wife is allergic to her husband's sperm
A newlywed couple fear they will be unable to have a baby after they discovered the wife was allergic to her husband's semen.

Julie Boyde, 26, discovered the problem when she and husband Mike, 27, had unprotected sexual intercourse for the first time on their wedding night.
The couple had been dating for two years when they got married, but had always used protection. As soon as they had unprotected intercourse for the first time she knew something was wrong.
"Before we were always very careful and, you know, used protection, and that time we didn't," Mrs Boyde told ABC News. "So, we figured we were married now, so if we got pregnant, we got pregnant."
Mrs Boyde, from Ambridge, Pennsylvania, added: "The pain that I was feeling was inside, kind of like, somebody was sticking needles up inside of me and like a burning, like really painful burning."
Doctors were unable to explain why she experienced pain after intercourse, until a friend of hers suggested she might be allergic to her husband's semen. She was eventually diagnoses with Seminal Plasma Hypersensitivity, which can cause itching and burning.
Dr Andrew Goldstein, from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center said: "The body recognizes semen as a foreign protein just as it would recognize a peanut allergen or pollen." "So you have swelling, you have itching, you have inflammation of the nerve endings."
His colleague Jonathan Bernstein developed a desensitization treatment similar to receiving an allergy shot. After determining the proteins in Mr Boyde's semen that triggered his wife's reaction, he created a serum to counteract the problem. Although the treatment works for some couples, it did not for the Boydes. They have now started adoption proceedings.

Mind-blowing sex: American woman suffers amnesia after intercourse
An American woman suffered a sudden attack of amnesia after having sex with her husband.

The sudden loss of memory, called “transient global amnesia” or TGA, is caused by pressure in blood vessels in the brain, and can be triggered by strenuous activities, bowel movements, or – commonly – sex.
The 59-year-old woman, known only as Alice, had the worrying experience after she and her husband Scott had sex last August. She suddenly, albeit temporarily, lost all memory of the last several years and the ability to form new memories.
After sex they turned on the television, which was showing the Beijing Olympics, and she asked: "Is there an Olympics?"
Scott told CNN: "I saw that something was wrong, so I asked her, 'OK, what day is it?'"
When she couldn’t answer, he asked her to name the current President, to which she replied: "Bill Clinton." Scott called an ambulance and she was taken to hospital, where it was initially thought she may have had a stroke.
However, neurologists were soon able to diagnose TGA, a relatively common experience in the over-50s.
Dr Louis Caplan, professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School, said: "[Sex] is actually a well-known precipitator.
"One of the things people have done to look at transient global amnesia is to look at frequency of various precipitants and sex always comes out as one of the most common."
People with a history of migraines and severe headaches are more prone to TGA.
Although her memory has otherwise returned fully, Alice remains unable to remember the act of intercourse that triggered her attack. However, it is likely that she enjoyed herself.
Dr Caplan said: "It usually is after climax that [TGA] develops."

Court hears couple's sex sessions
A court was played a 10 minute recording of a Wearside couple whose nightly sex sessions were said to have ruined the lives of neighbours.
Caroline and Steve Cartwright's love making was described as "murder" and "unnatural" at Newcastle Crown Court.
Mrs Cartwright, 48, from Washington, is appealing against a conviction for breaching a noise abatement notice against the couple.
A judge and two magistrates adjourned the hearing until Tuesday.
Mrs Cartwright is using Article 8 of the Human Rights Act to argue she has a right to "respect for her private and family life".
Next door neighbour Rachel O'Connor told the court she was frequently late for work because she overslept having been awake most of the night because of the noise.
She said: "It is not very pleasant living there and it has been quite stressful.
"The noise sounds like they are both in considerable pain. I cannot describe the noise. I have never ever heard anything like it."
Specialist equipment installed in Miss O'Connor's flat by Sunderland City Council recorded noise levels of between 30 to 40 decibels, with the highest being 47 decibels.
Giving evidence, unemployed Mrs Cartwright said she was unable to control the noise she made during sex.
She said: "After I got the Noise Abatement Notice I tried to control it. I even tried to use a pillow (over her face) to try and lessen the noise.
"I did not understand why people asked me to be quiet because to me it is normal. I didn't understand where they were coming from."
The case continues.
