Ok folks - there are various fortean or looslely related groups out there, and I have said I would attempt to make a list of them so here is my request for information.
If you know of a group can you let me know about it - it's name, what it's interests are, when meetings take place and it's location, and any web presence. I'll then pull all of the information together and put it in one post and I'll also put it together on a web page.
The idea is to build up a directory of groups so we can all see what is happening where - then if we're visiting a new area or moving we can check what's up.
[Emp edit: OK Gordon has been kind enough to let me edit his post to throw in more information (so that people won't have to sift through this thread looking for the right one) and I'll also include links to discussion on proposed groups (in case you feel inspired by all this activity to start forming your own groups.]
The more contributions we have the more useful this list will be

OK I've spoken to Gordon and he is OK with letting me edit his first post. Hopefully we can keep an updated list in that first post so people don't have to dig through this thread, the forum, etc., etc.
If you want to add/edit any details then throw them in here and we'll add it to the list. |

Hi
SELFS has moved one minute up the road to the upstairs room of The Spanish Galleon, 48 Greenwich Church Street, Greenwich, London, SE10 9BL.
A map can be found
here
We shall be keeping the same dates for meetings, so from 11th October, with Kathleen Blackmore’s talk on ‘Urban Witchcraft and Witch Trails”, we shall be at the Spanish Galleon.
Thanks |

I suppose I could put in another link to The ACT Association for the Analysis of Anomalous Arcana.
Current membership: A local (me), a Londoner, and a Scot. (OK, Niles isn't really Scottish, but he lives there. Anyway, I wanted to evoke the rhythm of a joke: "An Australian, a Cockney, and a Scot walk into a bar...")
Desperately in need of more local members (IE in the ACT region, although visitors are always welcome, and it's not that far from Sydney for one night a month, is it?) |

- of course, Forteana is amongst our remit! |
