Sure why not?
I suspect you can probably still vote on the previous one so it might be worth pitching a different poll although it could be that it'd be another snapshot of people's opinions now.
If people decide what Poll they'd want I can add it. |

surely that depends on whether you change your opinion in the face of ever more convincing evidence, just joking Jerry. |

| Well, it would be nice if this new volume of this particular theory actually begins with some new stuff, and not rehashing of stuff we've already covered again and again. If there's any new, more solid sounding information coming out from the conspiracy stuff, please post it - but only if it actually comes up with anything actually new and not something we've already covered. IMHo there's no point keeping a thread open if it just ends up being a repeat performance of the other one. |

| Oh, lighten up Jerry - global conspiracy doesn't neccessarily mean the end of the world. |

He is right though.
If no one is actually interested in discussing the WTC at the moment then we can bin this thread and someone can start a new one when there is something worth saying on the topic. |

Hang on. The points raised against the conspiracy theory have been along the lines of ' Not sufficient evidence IMHO'. There have been useful postings on the potential uses of thermite, the effects of said reaction, counters to the 'pancake' theory of tower collapse, how it worked along with the laws of physics, and a query asking why there is no evidence of molten pools in other collapsed buildings.
As far as the latter is concerned, I hesitate to say that you won't find any molten pools of metal weeks after any other building collapse as the 'circumstances' we are getting at didn't arise.
The physics thread I posted was a case of 'kill the messenger' because the entire CV of the writer wasn't included...and the author wasn't a structural engineer. So obviously the Laws of Physics only apply to those with the relevant qualifications.
Add to that the fact that the thoughts of a professor of physics were disregarded because he wasn't a structural engineer.
I'm not saying that it was a definite case of US Gov conspiracy...all I'm saying is that in my mind there is still a lot of room for doubt. AND no-one has answered all the arguments against to my satisfaction. (and if you're thinking that's a bit cheeky think of those who've demanded evidence to the contrary..the goverment line).
I don't think the thread has run its course yet. (IMHO). |

also..I notice that the 'ID Cards', 'Us sizing Iran up?' and 'London Bombings' threads are getting a bit unwieldy too.
You may want to dispose of them while you're at it. |

Righto - perhaps a summary with resources might help kickstart the debate then?

I'm not sure what you mean - I have already started a new "US Sizing up Iran" thread because it was getting unweildy. The others can b left o run for a bit before they need a part two. |
