Is it really the case that the back issues are only available as bundles of random issues, rather than the specific nine issues that you want? (This is what I was told on the 'phone this morning.)
This seems odd, especially since there's a list of available back issues on this web site, and likely to result in getting nine issues that I've already got...

That would explain why this mornings parcel contained only half what I ordered... and half random |

Humph.. my order came today, no collected issue's, although I was assured that I had not been charged for them. I got an assortment of random back issues and an extra one for luck possibly issue 96. Still I'll enjoy reading them even if they are not the one's I orderd. And I will enjoy drinking from my mug whilst at work |

I phoned up the order dept. today, just to check what I actually had on order and what had actually been sent out.
It turns out that somewhere between me phoning up the previous time to place my order, carefully repeating my order, of all the collected back issue volumes (bar 'Strange attractors', of course) and the first two Fortean Studies volumes, several times, the young woman on the other end assuring me that the full order had been placed and it reaching the warehouse, it had somehow magically turned into the first two Fortean Studies volumes and one back issue of the Fortean Times (N˚93) magazine.
So, the collected issue volumes hadn't been ordered at all. The young guy in the ordering dept. promised to send the three collected back issue volumes that are left, for the price of two, in recompense and a free mug (I wonder how that will survive the trip across the North Sea?). However, it's not quite the same as being almost certain, after several phone calls and false starts, over two weeks, that I'd finally been able to order all the collected issue volumes (bar 'Strange attractors', of course).
Was I angry, was I annoyed? No. I was v.disappointed though.
I'm still trying to be a brave little toaster. We will just have to see what finally turns up. |

Since that's over 3 weeks since I ordered things I phoned them up today to ask what was going on.
FYI apparently there has been a delay in sending a lot of orders out and they are due to go out this week for arrival next week. Apparently. So if you havent received your orders yet that is apparently why. |

I got a parcel today, containing a Fortean Times mug and a copy of Gateways To Mystery. Which was nice.
On the downside, I tried phoning the Clearance Sale, contact number, all last week, to sort out and pay an invoice I'd received, but it was engaged and I couldn't get through. I'm not sure whether they send out the order on the invoice, until before, or after, it's payed. I'll try again on Monday. |

After couple of weeks of trying to phone the special offer number, to pay an invoice, I tried several alternative numbers, before getting through, last week. My issues of The Plumber from Lhasa and Memories of hell turned up today, in two big envelopes, but still pleased to see them.
Three out of nine of the collected volumes, that I had originally been assured I'd ordered, many weeks ago, is still better than a kick up the bum, I suppose.
And I did get the copy of 'Lo!' and the first two 'Fortean Studies' volumes, as well. |

| I got a duplicate of one of the collected volumes, I'm not especially bothered though as I can just give it to someone I guess. Bonus! |
