That's a great programme, I heard it when it was first broadcast.

Agreed. I'm glad someone rescued it from that black hole BBC radio programs disappear to. Smile

On a totally different Fortean subject, youtube also has the full version of
The Legend Of Boggy Creek

Boggy Creek was one of the first films I ever got on DVD! (Was it so long ago?) Terrified me when I was a kid, and is still pretty spooky now, if very cheesy.

Yeah, I remember Boggy Creek being on TV too Shocked Think BBC2 broadcast it early one evening... don't think the adult programmers realised how scary it was!

I have the sequel somewhere on DVD. Regarded as a classic turkey - I see it is also available complete on Youtube:

Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here

Damned if I can remember much about it but at least I've forgotten nothing worth knowing, if that makes sense. Spiny

I saw the same broadcast, I remember my sister and I watching it at our gran's house and trying not to admit how freaked out by the film we were getting. It was part of one of those sci-fi seasons BBC2 used to broadcast, seemingly on a loop (Invaders from Mars was always included).

Weird coincidence, I've just been recommended this podcast episode about The Legend of Boggy Creek:
http://projection-booth.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/episode-65-legend-of-boggy-creek.html

Mostly an interview with the author of an extensive Bigfoot in the movies guidebook, but he gets into the background behind the BC film. For a very long time, set aside an evening to listen to it if you're so inclined! The Bill Clinton conspiracy sounds... interesting.

Cheers, listening to it now...

Pity his Bigfoot Filmography book is so expensive!

Yeah, he has a website but most of the good stuff seems to be in the book.
