While we have the user moderators in place, we think it would be good to sort out the board by merging redundant threads and moving misplaced ones.
Since we are fully occupied processing new threads which wind up in the wrong forum, and holding down jobs and family life, some help in tracking down the older threads would be useful.
If you see a redundant thread, or a thread you think is in the wrong place then please post a link here and where you think it should go in terms of the MB.
NOTE: This is for serious use only. Not discussion or comment. Any such posts will be deleted from this thread.
To keep the thread useable by the Moderators, it will be cleared back to this message as early the week as is possible.

If you see your old message has disappeared, it will be because either it's been done, or in the mod squads opinion doesn't needs doing, and will be removed 
We will keep relatively new posts just so you all know what's what

Could people drop the links in using the forteantimes.com URL (as opposed to the IP or forteantimes.co.uk) as it make it easer for the mods - they'd have to re-edit the address otherwise.
We also reserve the right not to edit or merge chat threads - as they are purged from time to time it is usually a wasted effort so think carefully before dropping them in here 
We also try and avoid merging IHTM threads but will consider suitable ones.

I did ponder a merge or three but I don't watch MH and so am not sure of the specifics so I don't want to rush into anything.
I'd be against one massive MH thread as MH is one of the most popular topics on the Ghosts forum so it'd be a whopper but perhaps ones for:
Each MH series
MH live
Degsy is a big fat liar - as this is more of an umbrella topic that touches on the various episodes.
Some other stuff

You're right that one thread would be too impenetrable but your breakdown sounds fine. In fact the degsy thread should be a general 'Most Haunted: Fact or Fake?' and the specifics can be thrashed out in the individual series threads. We could use an expert to divide up the locations by series - i've not seen enough. Any Ancorah anoraks?

| Yep that sounds reasonable but as you say we might need to throw this one of to the MH experts (if anyone will own up to it I suppose - if not they can PM me and I'll guarantee their anonymity ). |

I'm unsure we can as 3 out of 4 threads have polls about how fake it is.
We could delete some of the polls but that seems a bit tight on people who have voted and which would go?
I do think it might be required though.
Pos. two threads - on degsy being a big fat fake and MH being cobblers or is there enough corssover to jam them all together into your proposed "Most Haunted: Fact or Fake? thread? |

I'd bung them together in 'fake or fact', drop all the earlier polls and replace them with a fresh one 'fake or not?' [or not sure] and let poeple vote again if they choose.

I'll have to have a look for it. If it is still there I'll bump it, if not then feel free to start a new thread.
Well, I'm not sure why it was kept in Parapsychology but I've gone with your request - the threads are merged and I'll move it over to Ghosts asap. |
