I don't see any deviation of position with the "star" at all, on either shots. The 'plane moving from right to left simply passes a stationary light (Star), and the rest of it is all a bit too sporadic- focus wise to see anything. Same with the "WTF"... it's stationary. It doesn't disappear either! It goes out of focus, plain and simple. (Or should that be "Plane and Simple"?)
You are doing a fair bit of promotional posting for your videos onhere, aren't you. |

If only it where, but you know it is not but if you do not know much about filming, and what is moving and what is not, finding out if there where any stars there then your reply is worth less, thats like a baby in a sweet shop i want i want,no matter the truth a one sided view, from some one who knows nothing about movement in filming, but you will know some one who can eh but makes sure they use there real name when they post findings,i like to put a name to replys to my footage for future ref. |

| How about buying tripod then we'd be able to judge if your lights were moving, instead of shaking your camera round like monkey with delerium tremens? |

I fail to see the releveance of my personal photography skills to whether or not I'm able to judge if a light is stationary or not. You are the one claiming "UFO" so the burden of proof lies with you, I'm afraid. And, as Timble points out, buying a tripod and learning how to use the camera would make things clearer (or perhaps that's what you're afraid of). |

Got one but very very hard to use tracking moving it around looking down viewfinder zooming, its not like a film set and everything is on cue,you should try it and post the footage.
As the rest of the gang cometh forward. |

| My boyfriend is very experienced in photography, both stills and cinematic, and he recorded the ISS passing over on his MOBILE PHONE, with better results than yours. And yes, you can stabilise the videos, post production, to see whether or not the star was moving, and no, it wasn't. It was completely stationary. The other video, is simply a plane closer than another in the distance. (The flashing lights.) On no occasion in your video, do the stars move at all. It's getting to the point where one suspects all the panning, zooming and focus abberations, are done on purpose, to hide the fact that it's all a load of wishful thinking. Show me one video (apart from the genuinely strange spiral cloud) which is out of the ordinary, and your credit will begin. |

I know what it is not,and i know it was no stationary object, all well looked in to,do you think we just dream these up,when there are so many who just love to post thoughts about footage with out even looking in to or asking for more info so they can do, as has been done to find out how wrong they where.
Got more footage to upload and i will post it on this thread for all to view and if anyone would like to do research just ask for more info, and then when you have your findings you can post them here or would you?. |

The stars do not move as there where no stars to be seen.

I'm really sorry Coaly but I don't think that's really relevant, it's a totally different situation and (for all we know) your boyf knew the time and location and in some ways might have been prepared. UFOs don't tend to be "regular" in their appearances. Besides, with John you just have to methodically point out that he's captured the mundane, and there's nothing wrong with that John, except for the fact that I think you know it!
As John also knows, I've tried to understand the reasons for most UFO captures being shoddy http://www.forteantimes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38527&highlight=ufo+experiment and from my experience each and every one of Johns videos is neither a fake nor a forgery. They are all real. I will address the videos in order:
Oct 6th: It's a star. If it looks like it's moving it's coz you have a telegraph wire in the middle distance which works with the star to give the impression of movement. Even to describe it as an optical illusion is pushing it. It's perspective.
Oct 5th: It's a lovely little cloud I think. In fact my RAF captain mate might suggest it's the vapour coil off a jets wing but whatever.
Venus Transit: Probably the most interesting of all the vids. Some lovely polarised sun shots and Venus as a little spec passing in front. The fllash is indeed weird, can I ask if this is shot on film? If it is it's a very common thing, often experienced in the cinema.
Oct 5th Midlothian Gorebridge: At about 0:27 you see the tell tale flash of a light, as you would expect from an aircraft.....for that is what it is! It's movement is difficult to judge due to wobble, but I reckon overral it moves in a consistent direction and speed to allow it to be an aircraft.
Sept 5th: Objects speed and movement suggest a helicopter, possibly even a Chinese lantern.
Motivational video: Rather than watching this pap, try playing Eye of the Tiger as you get out of bed and prance around the kitchen, shadow boxing in your underwear. Works for me! |
