But in order to ramp up the dramatic tension, they'd have to have spokey dokes so they rattle through the empty streets.

Ok, just watched Season 3 Episode 3 and have to say of the ending... that is one of the most nuts things I have ever seen, and superbly executed! Shocked Twisted Evil

Without spoilering, I seem to recall that Caligula was alleged to have done the same practice, also the same idea was 'borrowed' for Emperor Cartagia in Babylon 5... but the Walking Dead version was much, much more disturbing.

And a minor spoiler - Merl is back!

I knew the Guv' was up to no good. This is gearing up towards classic Western territory. Rick vs Guv' (Good vs Evil) in a shoot out with blondey whats-her-face torn in between.

I figured he had to be, it was still quite a shocking volte-face when it came about 2/3 of the way through.

The ending just elevated him from being bloody rotten to what I seem to recall Pietro once referring to as 'crawling across the floor norman bates type insane' Twisted Evil

I'm currently downloading and playing the episodic Walking Dead game.
It's a 3D animated point and click where the storyline changes according to your decisions. I've just finished episode 2 and have to say the story is way better than the TV show.

If it's anything like the TV show you'd have to spend ten hours discussing every move.

Spot on. A lot of it is conversation choices to build trust in your fellow survivors. You fiind out who your friends are when you need to be pulled out of a room of slavering zombies.

It's not your typical shoot 'em in the head game.

Bread and circuses... and a hint of something much worse.

I can;t think of another show that has the ability to keep on genuinely shocking me... it's unrelenting. Twisted Evil
