The Amnesty Greetings Card Campaign
I don't send seasonal cards to friends and rellies. This lot get them instead.
Amnesty gives advice on what sort of greetings are appropriate (friendly, personal, religious, whether you can include your own address, etc) and you can even download all their addresses to glue onto the envelopes.
When I've been hard up I've picked out just a few, but in times when I'm better off I can send them all one.
Receiving cards from all over the world makes a big difference to people. Sometimes it just lifts their spirits and lets them know they're not forgotten. Some prisoners of conscience find that their conditions improve and some are even released!
Well worth the effort. |

Maybe if everyone chips in, we can do them all between us?
Let's say i'll do Konstantina and Ronak for now.
Anyone else in? |
