I tried to get to Gwithian on Friday, but (long story short) the only bus that goes that way is on winter service - only two a day, each way! (And connecting with that bus, at Hayle or Portreath, is impossible for me.)
I can get a bus to within about 3 km of the place, however. Not so long ago I'd have thought nothing of walking that distance, but my mobility now is not what it was. It's too late to go now, but next fine day I might give it a try. With my walking stick (for beating off unruly peasants..  ) |
