By the way have you seenDying Breed? Its an imbred cannibal film set in Taz but it also has a cameo from the Tazzy wolf.

Are you sure it's not a documentary?

SPOILERS TO FOLLOW.

Well I've just seen this film, finally. I loved it, excellent acting by the adult and children of the cast. Wasn't keen on the tiger full face though but that's a minor nitpick as were my concerns about the stripes being too symmetrical and the coat not having enough grey in it, such concerns are strictly for sad acts only though.

I found the plot more logical and better constructed than the book. I know some may not agree but to me, as has been said above, this was a downbeat rather grimy film and the actions of the characters having a more understandable context was a great help. Initially I did think the appearance of the other fella from Paris was a bit unnecessary, but ultimately it made Dafoe's penultimate act much more understandable.

If you enjoy your films to be deliberately obscure then perhaps it's not for you, otherwise I'd strongly recommend it.

The venomous bite is nonsense.

Yes, but I suppose they wanted to come up with a suitably nefarious reason why the company wanted to get hold of it.

One thing, while watching the sequence of genuine photos, in the scene where he's going through his laptop, the recreated picture among the genuine ones went down like a lead bollock.
