I'm surprised that I haven't seen a thread dissecting reports that the team who killed Bin Laden were themselves taken out by the Taliban by rocket fire on their heli.
Rich food for conspiracy theorists surely.

sounds a bit iffy imo
all thats left now is the fact they have said he is dead
nobody left who was there no body and all photograpic proff restricted
we will just have to take there word for it ? |

There is a discrepancy between the two reports but it was stated by many sources that the seals responsible for the death of bin Laden were taken out.

| As has been said before, the soldiers were from the same unit. It was not the same soldiers. That a newspaper gets that wrong proves nothing. I think it was mentioned elsewhere that the unit consists of about 260 soldiers. |

There's every chance that the guy who was shot was not Bin Laden but one of his mates who used to come round and watch the Arsenal games with him on his big TV. It's not implausible that Bin Laden was in the kitchen fixing a bacon sandwich.
We've got to keep an open, gaping mind on these things. |
