We Recently investigated Mare Island in Vallejo, CA. Many claim this old navy base is haunted by the spirits of sailors and people who have died from accidents and explosions. We gathered alot of great evidence. check out the video.

Some of the EVP at the beginning of the video was quite interesting - it seemed to drop though as the video went on.
BTW - I had a tour of an aircraft carrier a couple of years ago - it looked remarkably similar on the inside. Not much changes there I guess. |

The morse code thing is a bit ropey.
Like a lot of EVPs, I couldn;t get that one without the subtitle... and can;t not hear it after I've seen the subtitle. |

Can't say I'm impressed.
The 'evidence' is extremely unconvincing. The moving stool footage for instance: the stool isn't moving, it's teleporting. One frame it's in one spot, the next another. Also, although it's unclear, the numbers at the top of the screen don't seem right. They change but not at the same pace. To be perfectly honest it looks a lot like the footage has been edited. The stool has been moved and the mover cut out so it looks like the stool is jumping.
The EVP is very unclear, and a lot of the time I don't think it sounded like what you claim is being said. Also I'm rather suspicious that the EVP all seems to happen when someone is either walking around or waving the recorder around. It could easily be derived from the noise of people's movements.
Not even going to start on the orbs. Dust specks.
Also a bit of a pet peeve of mine...why exactly is this investigation being done with the lights off? It's already been established that the presence can operate in the day (moving stools, throwing stuff etc), so why is the investigation being done by flashlight? What's the point aside from trying to be 2spooky4u? It really makes the whole thing look amateurish and a Most Haunted knockoff.
The actual story itself is good and the things going on in the store are interesting, but the actual investigation and the 'evidence' is very weak. I understand that when you're making a ghost show you need to show something tangible, but this just seems to be a lot of things going bump in the night... |

I haven't clicked on this particular link yet, but from past experience of chillseeker's links, they are well produced and (at the very least) interesting.
Plus (going on past form alone) it is likely to be on topic for the folder it's in.
So: Spam? No. Clickbait? Yes. |
