Given the current climate, can I please remind all posters that posting rumours sourced from the 'net, the Thompson/Venables pictures being a current and apt example, could place the site, and the mag itself in serious jeopardy.

As a rule of thumb, if something is being discussed in the mainstream media, it's safe to discuss it here. Something someone posted on Facebook or Twitter is rather more shaky, especially when it concerns ongoing legal proceedings, criminal investigations, or unsubstantiated allegations about a living person. As I said, if they're talking about it on the Beeb or in the papers then ok, but if in any doubt PM Jack, Pietro or me first. Any stuff posted of that nature that's legally iffy will be removed without discussion, and persistent offenders will be warned.
