I would like to ask for some help with a youtube weird vid request but I'm not sure which department I should post in...mods, feel free to move as you see fit.

About the vid - here goes:

A few years back I saw a bit of 'footage' on YT from a handheld cam of some sort, taken by a US family or couple who are on what I think is part of their property, a veranda or decked area. They're looking away from their house, across a green field, to a green treeline in the distance. I think it might be a breezy day.

The focus of the movie is that there appears to be some sort of transparent visual distortion at the treeline. The voices are an older guy and his other half - he's intrigued by what they're recording but she seems to be genuinely fearful. He zooms in as best as the camera will allow and it looks like the transparent visual effect from the old Arnie Predator film.

Apart from it probably being some sort of transparent visual effect from the old Arnie Predator film, the couples' responses to what they are seeing seem genuine or at least believable.

Has anyone else seen it, could anyone possibly put a link up please?

I have to say though, viewing it again all that time later, there seems to be far greater compression artefacts than I recall; I also thought it was longer and possibly brighter/greener.

Never mind, I'm grateful for your powers of recall/diligence/nerdicity!

I think there's a couple of slightly cleaner versions knocking about on YouTube if you search for "Gettysburg Ghosts". It's definitely an interesting one if it's genuine.
