Not bad, but you do wonder why there isn't more of it. If I saw a mammoth and had a camera in my hand I'd do my best to capture as much as possible. Then again, it could be someone's watched Walking with Beasts and edited a clip - sad we have to be suspicious, but there you go.

Oh well, right to be suspicious then. Interesting how the fraudsters built up a whole backstory for it, though.

Wouldn't be much of a hoax without a backstory.

But it's a pretty crap backstory. Why would he have a home movie camera on a death march? And if you did have one, it would surely be to record the horrors of your experience for posterity and/or the court of public opinion, and the mammoth recording would be incidental to that.

You don't really care about hairy elephants when you're marching to your death, you know.

Hey, I didn't say it was a good backstory! But still interesting they made it as grim as possible, as if to ensure nobody would question it without sounding churlish at best. Failed again...
