Is anyone else having problems with the site today. It's very slow to load...I mean it's taking 4 minutes to load any pages...taken 12 minutes to log in and post this topic.

Other sites are loading just fine?

And now I'm logged out and yet still able to post?

Are we through the looking glass?

Yes. It has slowed to a crawl this evening, while other sites are loading normally.

Sad

It's slooooooooooooowwwwww....!

Obviously something is indexing/downloading everything on the site...or the server is struggling.

It's horrid! Half the time I cannot connect at all.

All this on top of losing my email notifs means it's hardly worth bothering with FT any more.

One interesting fact - since losing my email notifs I've also lost those SUSPICIOUS MESSAGEs, which seems to confirm they did come from FT.

Seems to be back to normal (as normal as it gets round 'ere).

Doesn't explain how I managed to post while not actually logged in though...

I've been having trouble with the MB most of the day. If it's not slow, it refuses to connect at all, and gives an 'HTTP 500 Internal Server Error': MS suggests 'the website may be under maintenance'.

Other websites worked OK, it was just FTMB affected. It seems to be OK now, but still a bit slow. Did anyone else have problems?

Mine seemed slow earlier today, think it may've even timed out at some point but it seems OK now.

Slow? Since about 2000 BST the MB's been practically catatonic!

My internet connection seems OK, I can get other websites normally, play videos, run virus scan, etc.

Anyone else getting this?

(And can I even make this post...?)

Yep, I experienced this earlier. It was at the point of collapse for a long time.

I seldom seem to experience any of the slow-downs that people mention on here, but yesterday the board timed out on several occasions and appeared half-loaded at times.

I suspect the low level of posting indicates that others have had problems too. There were two stories I meant to post last night, but it was impossible. (One was about a new nasty virus - I hope the FTMB hasn't got that!)

It's ironic that this board loads just fine (even "quickly") for me, as I have AT&T DSL and it's absolutely terrible.

When other websites fail to load, I have rarely experienced problems with this one (including today).

My internet ypically times out once every 5 minutes or so. Evil or Very Mad

EDIT: Clarification.
