I don't know if anyone else has done this, but for ages I've been meaning to get myself a breathalyzer for that once in a while morning when I drive to work after having one more than I normally do the previous night.
But what surprised me is that while the limit is 0.8BAC, I've been driving a 20 mile route to work everyday whilst being about 1.0 or 1.1BAC every morning.
But despite this I feel perfectly fine at such a level.
Has anybody else done this or ever been breathalyzed ion the morning? |

| For the record I have cut down a little, I've replaced my last can of the night with a decaf tea. |

Only this morning, Mr. Cherrybomb was talking about how he has brought a breathalyzer kit for a mates xmas gift, for those sort of mornings!
As a non driver it's not a problem for me....sorry! |

I suspect that a lot of people unwittingly drive over the limit in this way on a regular basis. It stands to reason if you've had a skinful the night before you'll most likely be over the limit in the morning, despite feeling perfectly sober.
Avon & Somerset Police launched a very successful drink-drive campaign a while back by specifically targeting early morning drivers. While I agree to some extent with the argument that if you're over the limit then you're over the limit, there's a big difference between that and deliberately driving whilst pissed. IMO...but of course not in the eyes of the law. |

I bought one of these once on plane while I was slaughtered. I used it once or twice then forgot about it. |
