The poor chap was shaking with Fort-induced shock and awe.

And yup, it's about time I got the proverbial out. Wink

As many peeps as poss need to see things like this.

Next week it's Not Piecrusts After All - Shakespeare's Lost Folios

Where do you go to car boot sales Escargot? All they have at the ones here are Geoffrey Archer books, duff elctrical equipment and paintings of clowns.

Yup, we too get the electric shocks and clown-art. They are still preferable to the Jeffrey Archer though. Wink

I live Oop North, where there are still attics and sheds full of unclaimed wonders.

Car booties are the wonder of the modern age, an inevitable artefact of capitalism. Loads of stuff lying about, you know. Wink

I'm fascinated by them and if I 'want' something I try the booty first, for gardening equipment or spare dog leads or rare 1920s radical newspapers. Wink

The newspaper featuring the letter has spent a few weeks with John Rimmer of Magonia. He has written about it in the current editorial.

Again, I'd have liked to see the newspaper's own archaic style reproduced but I s'pose that's too expensive in terms of both cash & space.

Dear David Sutton's interest has been aroused! I have taking the liberty of forwarding him a copy of the letter and some notes. It would be nice to see a write up of it in issue 200.

Everybody now:
issue 200
issue 200
issue 200
issue 200
issue 200. . . . .

And Well Done that Byron! yeay

It's not taking a liberty at all to show our lad Fort's work around.
I am delighted. My original scan disappeared for a while up the Swanee of Crash so it's a good job we have copies. Wink

I am at Uncon and have brought 'our' newspaper with me, if anyone'd like a look.
