THE RECORDING

The duration in which the animal can be seen is of approximately 4 seconds. The distance from the camera's position to the subject under analysis is approximately 15 to 20 meters.

Its appearance, at a glance, is that of a black panther combining canine and ape characteristics. But detail is only possible through the result of an objective digital analysis.

TRUE APPEARANCE OF THE ANIMAL

Its size--horizontally-- is approximately 1.8 meters long by 1.4 meters tall.

It has two ears similar to those of a donkey but much thinner, with an approximate length of 30 centimeters. When these are in repose, they remain straight and forward (rigid). Upon observing or feeling itself under observation, it moves them backward at a 90 degree angle, approximately. At no time does it relax or put its ears back, as is the case with most animals; they always move in the same direction, from front to back.

On its abdominal region it present four cannulae or segmented tubes which appear to emerge from its dorsal area and are attached to its body. These cannulae, ended in semi-rounded points, hang beneath its abdomen forming a ring. Something similar can be found on its neck but these are short, thick and semi-conical. Between its nasal region and muzzle other dangling cannulae can be seen, these being shorter and lighter in color, and which it appears to be able to contract and extend at will. Speculatively, it might be able to employ them as siphons to drain its victims' blood.

Between these cannulae, which emerge under its nose, a strange pair of vampire-like fangs can be seen to emerge from the upper mandible, linking in a rounded manner, opening slightly at their ends and curving backward, like powerful claww.

It has a powerful jaw and a broad muzzle with long upper fangs.

Its nose presents large nasal openings, a combination of pig, mandrill and wolf.

Seen sideways, its face resembles that of a large feline, but seen face-on, [it resembles] a fusion between wolf, feline, pig and mandrill. It further presents a slight protuberance in the upper rear part of its skull.

It features a pair of curvilinear upper wings which fold and emerge from behind its neck, like the wings on a hawk. These weings present three folds from beginning to end, with the last one fold being the one of largest size.

It is further endowed with two medium-sized lateral fins that emerge from behind each one of the front legs, which are linked to a "semi-rectangular" prominence or bulk located in the underarm joint of said extremity.

The wings resemble those of a bat, where bones adhered to the skin can be identified, showing several final flolds and fan-shaped joints on the base.

It features membranes or pseudo-wings which link the front arms with the medial abdominal region of its body and has characteristics which are very similar to the aforementioned wings, only thinner. In a resting position, these [pseudo-wings] assume the shape of an inverted "V". Its skin is slightly lighter in color and crossed by thin bones.

It has a short tail, measuring some 20 cm. in length with a mean thickness of 5 cm. resembling a thick sausage, which it shakes quickly.

Its upper wings, when folded over its back, become fused with its fur. Slight protuberances (on its back) can be seen which would be the edges of the pointed folds of the folded wings. Toward the end of the body, the endings or tips of the wings mounted (sic) or in repose can be clearly seen, above and between the tail.

It's hind legs are noticeably longer than the front ones. It walks with its hind legs flexed--as though crouching--opening them sideways; it walks normally with its front legs. Its gait has a certain resemblance with that of a large lizard. Both arms and legs on its upper section appear thick and strong. Four long frontal toes joined by a membrane can be seen in its hind legs, plus a dewclaw with medium sized nails.

The color of the creature's skin on its head and the ends of its feet and hands are dark in color, rather black, while the rest of the body has a dark brown shade that is only slightly lighter in the abdominal area. Reddish shades are evident on its nose and upper wings (back). Certain lighter shades can also be seen toward the tips of the upper folded wings (over the tail).

It is not possible to establish sexual organs.

It walks quickly, talking great strides, but the movement of its wings and face (attention and reaction) is far swifter. Movements are very similar to those of a lizard.

Its eyes are elongated and swept backward, menacing, curved and following the shape of its skull.

The analyses are still ongoing. New details on this creature may still be found.

Clearly a government cover-up. Frankly i'd be stunned if Lizards weren't behind it.

I just dowloaded the video and saw the pictures in the other Spanish website. For the life of me, I can't see a thing that would not convince that this is not a dog or some other animal.

Not sure where to put this, so I hope I will be forgiven for posting it here.

Chupacabra in Indiana
by Bray

This happened on June 28, 2004, in St.John, Indiana. I was out in my driveway about 9:30 p.m., throwing snap dragons onto my driveway. In front of my house and behind it, there are woods. I looked up and, across the street near the trees, I saw a shadowy figure standing there. At first, I thought it was just a shadow from a bush or something. Then I saw it move. It moved into the light cast by the only street light on my street.

What I saw, I will never forget. It was about 3 to 4 ft. tall, and had little or no hair. I couldn't really tell, but it looked grayish-green in color. It had three claws that I could see on each arm, which were small. It was in a crouched position that made me think of a kangaroo. I could see what looked like spikes running down the back of the creature. At this point, it turned and looked straight at me. It's face looked like a human's except for a few features. There was no nose; just two nostrils, like slits. Its eyes shined a yellow-green color. The eyes seemed to be farther apart and a bit higher up on the head than a human's. When the creature noticed me looking at it, it turned toward me and adopted a stance suggesting it was going to leap toward me. At this point, I turned and ran quickly up to my garage and started punching in the key code number as fast as I could. Once it was open, I dashed up to the door inside, where I paused for one second to look back. The creature was no longer there.

In the days that have passed, I have watched from the window at night to see if it would return, but it has not. But I would never go into those woods searching for it. The creature had looked more than capable of killing me. The closest thing I can relate it to is a Chupacabra. But I've never heard a story in which they were this far north.

Found another cool account here , and it happened in Toronto, yet!

Quote:
Tunnel Monster - Toronto Ontario

It was a warm summer’s day in August of 1978 when a Toronto area man had an experience with a strange creature that would forever change his life.

Ernest (he would only allow his first name to be used) was a soft-spoken 51 year old at the time of his harrowing experience. He and his wife of 19 years had been raising a litter of kittens. One of the kittens apparently disappeared and Ernest decided to search for it in the vicinity of their Parliament St. apartment. Closeby he stumbled upon the opening to a dark “cave” and crawled approx.10ft inwards. This is where he said, “I saw a living nightmare that I’ll never forget.”

Armed only with a flashlight Ernest encountered a creature of unknown origin. He described the monster as “long and thin, almost like a monkey, three ft long, large teeth, weighing maybe 30lbs with slate-grey fur.” However it was the eyes that truly stood out, “orange and red, slanted.”

Ernest spoke reluctantly with reporters as to what occurred next. The creature spoke to him. “I’ll never forget it,” he said. “It said, ‘Go away, go away,’ in a hissing voice. Then it took off down a long tunnel off to the side. I got out of there as fast as I could. I was shaking with fear.”

Ernest never approached the media with his story. He was afraid that people would think that he was “drunk” or worse “crazy” and felt that no one would ever believe him. “The (Toronto area newspaper) Sun found him after hearing about his experience from a reliable contact who worked with a relative of Ernest’s, one of the handful of people to whom he had confided the experience. He would agree to talk only if his last name was not revealed.”

“I believe Ernie saw exactly what he says he did”, said Barbara (Ernest’s wife). “He was terrified when he came back to the apartment and he doesn’t scare easily. Look, he’s been known to to have a drink in the past - like most people, and to occasionally tie one on, but he’s not a drunk and he wasn’t drinking at all that day.”

The Toronto Sun did question some of Ernest’s relatives and neighbourhood aquaintances. They found that all agreed with and supported Barabara’s evaluation of her husband.

Ernest accompanied by Sun staff returned to the location of his strange sighting in March of 1979. The cave’s entrance was located at the bottom of a narrow passageway between the building where he lived and the one next door. Together they found the corpse of a cat, which was “half-buried in the tunnel.” The sad discovery reminded Ernest of ‘strange noises, like animals in pain,” that he had heard emanating from the tunnel prior to his frightening encounter.

Ernest showed the Sun reporter exactly where he saw the strange being. He stated, “ The last I saw the creature it was heading off into the dark.” The passage seemed to drop down very quickly and go a long way back.

It was speculated that the the tunnel in fact led to the sewer system and that the entranceway beside Ernest’s apartment was “an access point used by the creature to the surface.” Safety concerns promoted Toronto’s Sewer Deptartment to thoroughly inspect the tunnel as it was feared that area children may in fact try to enter it.

Ernest’s story was very strange, however sewage employees did not ridicule or scoff at it according to the report made by The Toronto Sun at that time. One worker who was quoted in the paper stated, “People who work on the surface just don’t know what it’s like down there. It’s a whole different world. Who would have thought a few years ago that people would live in sewers, and yet that’s what they found in New York a few years back. Another was quoted as saying, “I don’t know what he (Ernest) saw down there.” He also stated, “I’ll tell you one thing. If we could get in there, I sure as hell wouldn’t want to go down alone.”

It’s is interesting to note that the description of the creature provided by Ernest and an artist’s rendering which was included in the original Toronto Sun article resemble some current reports of another strange creature - the South American Chupacabara.

Yet another mangy dog mistaken for a chupa

Mysterious Beast Spotted

Watch this story...

Just what is it? Another sighting of the mysterious beast many call the “Chupacbra.” This time the creature was spotted in East Texas – alive!

Someone in the Tyler area was able to snap a picture of the strange blue-grayish animal with long fangs.

It looks much like the one a San Antonio area rancher shot and killed last year. You may remember the so-called "Elmendorf Beast" that rancher Devin McAnally discovered in July. The story drew attention from around the world, and several of the animals have since been spotted across Texas.

Some say it's a coyote with mange. Others have wondered if it's the Chupacabra of Mexican folklore. You can judge for yourself by taking a look at our series of stories on this strange beast...

I've seen a documentary about leapords in India.

They bit animals on the neck, one animal had two large holes in it's neck.

Now then - what about the Chupa Cabra (suck - goat) in South America?

If a large cat was to bite an animal in the neck like a leapord apparently does, then two large holes in the jugular would probably lead to very fast blood loss.

Does that solve it?

Because the poll was started as part of a new Chupcabra thread, yesterday, which was then merged into the main Chupa thread taking the poll with it.

Possible Chupacabra Sighting

LAST UPDATE: 6/13/2005 8:58:43 PM
Posted By: Walker Robinson

Another mystery beast has surfaced in South Texas, and some say it might be a chupacabra.

The first one surfaced in Elmendorf last year. Now, one man in Luling, east of San Antonio, tells News 4 WOAI he caught a mysterious beast on video tape.

Chris Coble says he and a friend were driving and saw the creature peer out from behind a bush.

“We were driving down the road and he'd seen it, probably about 30 yards off the road,” Coble said of his friend. They were in a wooded area up near Luling.

“It was three foot tall, hairless, long, and had like a hunch back,” Coble said.

He brought the videotape to News 4 WOAI. On videotape, the animal looks like it could be a dog or coyote, but Coble says it could be a chupacabra.

A rancher in Elmendorf claimed last year he found a mystery beast on his property. That animal was sent away for DNA testing.

News 4 WOAI went to wildlife experts about the newest claim about the animal in Luling.

“I really don't think it is a chupacabra,” Tiffany Soecthing with Natural Bridge Caverns Wildlife Ranch said of Coble’s creature. “I would lean towards a dog that has a hair problem.”

Soeching said she has seen animals like it before and Coble’s "beast" looks like a wolf hybrid.

Wow - we've gone exactly two years without a Chupacabra post! About time to change that...

Quote:
Mystery animal photographed in Oklahoma reminds of legendary creature Chupacabra
(Photos at link - mangy something?)

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a... mythical creature?

One Oklahoma man believes that's exactly what he managed to photograph. Craig Martin recently captured three images of an animal he thinks could be a Chupacabra, a legendary species rumored to feed on the blood of goats.

The pictures show the animal feasting on the carcass of a dead animal, and even captures the face of the animal. To Martin, it's a match for the elusive prowler.

"It looks exactly the same, there's not much difference at all," Martin told 2NEWS affiliate KFOR in Oklahoma City.

While the scavenger does resemble web images of the Chupacabra, not everyone is buying it.

"What we're dealing with here is just a coyote with a bad case of mange," a biologist told KFOR.

Martin said while maybe that's much easier to accept, he's not so sure that's the whole story.

"I'm not saying it's not part coyote but I think it could be a hybrid," he said. "I think it's probably mixed with another species of dog, but it's definitely not just a regular coyote. They can say what they want."

Whatever it is, Oklahomans will be watching.
