Grey Aliens and the Harvesting of Souls: The conspiracy to genetically tamper with humanity

Author: Nigel Kerner
Publisher: Bear and Company, 2010
Price: £24.00 (paperback)
Isbn: 9781591431039
Rating:

Less than sober account of extraterrestrials

Listen, it’s complicated! According to Kerner, the Grey Aliens are “sophisticated biological robots created by an extraterrestrial civilisation they have long since outlived”. If that appeals to you, then you’ll love this book with its convoluted theory, pseudo-science and New Age (rhymes with ‘sewage’) platitudes. If, however, you like your ufology to consist of robust theory leavened with checkable fact, then you’d best steer clear.

It’s a conundrum: ufology wouldn’t be what it is without books of this level of vapidity; but if the subject strives for mainstream acceptance, then books such as Kerner’s are doing it no favours at all.
