Print-on-demand and online book printing have laid to rest the notion you need a ‘name’ publishing house. We now have punk publishing: anyone can – and should – do it. In Paranormal Reality, Dave Sadler, grand fromage of the eminently sensible Unknown Phenomena Investigation Association (google them) takes us on a whistlestop tour of some of the mysteries he has probed in his 13-year stint on the bizarre beat in the north-west of England and Wales. Ghosts, hauntings, UFOs, crop circles and earth mysteries haunt the pages, including many cases I’d not come across before.
There are no great revelations here, but Paranormal Reality is a worthwhile read, capturing the working notes, theories and experiences of one of the few people who put time, effort and money into cataloguing the mysteries of the multiverse.
Page numbering, an index and better editing would have helped!
