Force of Five is a pretty standard action movie – victim of bullies lands up in hospital in need of heart transplant; terrorists take over hospital before new heart can be delivered; friends take on terrorists to save victim’s life – but with the twist that the friends-in-need are all children who happen to have grown up in a Muay Thai school. Unfortunately, this novelty isn’t enough to sustain the film, which suffers from a weak plot and sketchily-drawn characters, particularly as only two of the kids can fight and even they have a limited selection of moves. Disappointingly charmless.
