Regular FT readers will remember the Jeane Dixon Museum and Library from the article we ran on the well-known American astrologer and psychic in issue 243. Sadly, the museum was forced to close over the winter - as reported in local paper the North Virginia Daily. Jeane Dixon's estate is to be auctioned off on 26 July, by Sloans & Kenyon. John Schreiner, the former curator, is working on a "Virtual Jeane" presentation, with graphics and photos to illustrate her story, which he is hoping to get online at some point in the near future.
Auction lots can be viewed in person at Sloans & Kenyon’s gallery, 7034 Winsconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815, during the five-day exhibition, 21-25 July. A limited edition auction catalogue is available for USD 15 Multiple-view online images of auction lots, detailed images, and alternate views of auction lots can be viewed here.
