The Grant Museum has announced its Spring programme of events, including the strangeness-celebrating talks, films and exhibitions listed below. For full details visit the museum's website.
Pandora's Box: Curiosity and the Dangerous Pursuit of Knowledge, which runs 15 February to 11 June (Mon-Fri, 1-5pm) is an exhibition of box assemblages and cabinets of curiosities by Amanda Schiff, with photographs by Jane Wildgoose. They're made from abandoned and forgotten objects and accompanied by short stories, mixing science with fairytale to tell of dark secrets and obsessions.
On 9 February, 6.30pm, there'll be a screening of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1916), introduced by Dr Joe Cain (UCL Science and Technology Studies).
