7 Egyptian Treasures
The Petrie Museum of Egyptian archaeology unveils a major redisplay of its 80,000 Egyptian and Sudanese artefacts, highlighting its many 'firsts' including a dress from 5000 BC, the earliest example of glazing, and the oldest will on papyrus paper, and introducing a new interpretative approach using everyday objects to bring the past to life.
